Free Comic Book Day 2015

Late post, but yeah, had to share this. πŸ™‚

This year’s Free Comic Book Day is bigger than ever! Bigger crowd! Lots of freebies! And lots of local comic stores participating! North to South! Anyway, I was a guest artist at Comic Odyssey BGC Branch in Taguig – yeah, where FullyBooked BGC is located. Indeed, crowded, but fun!

I arrived late but as per the stories I’ve heard, the line was already long before the peak of the sunshine arrived – like I said, bigger crowd. Let the pictures tell the story. (Some of the images were grabbed. Credits to Comic Odyssey and FullyBooked πŸ™‚ )

Look at the long line of people!
Guest artists were located at the 3rd floor of that building.

As the gates open, I’ve heard that entry was moderated until accommodation of the crowd went okay.

Inside FullyBooked, yeah they have 3 floors full of books!
Inside Comic Odyssey, discounted books and freebies were distributed.
The crowd as they get sketch commissions and discounted creator-owned books from their favorite artists!
My spot! Yeah! πŸ™‚

Then some of the things I did. πŸ™‚

Additional pre-made drawings I did before the event.
One of the happy moments in FCBD is drawing stuff for kids. She even bought 2 disney princess prints.. πŸ™‚
This one is notable. I made this for a SpiderGwen cosplayer! πŸ™‚

So that’s it everyone! Events here are fun! It’s good to know that new faces appreciate art the same way old comers do. πŸ™‚

Oh! I almost forgot! The record has been broken for who’s the earliest one in line, see the caption of the screenshot below. πŸ˜€

FCBD here was on May 2. He’s already there morning of May 1. #fanboy
